When she was 16 she had a three weeks stay in the Pforzheim Jewelry City in Germany. This stay was the foundation for her passion for making jewellery and at the age of 19 she decided to permanently move to Pforzheim. Over the next many years she met a lot of people who inspired and motivated her in her work. Carmen has a constant need for improving herself, she believes that if all people could live their lives in real creativity, there would be less fighting and ruthlessness in the world.

“For me Trollbeads is jewellery with the bracelet as the platform and upon that platform the individual person is able to make their own designs. I find lots of possibilities in the various symbols and many designs in the collection. It is like going through a secret door and discovering hidden feelings and experiences being brought to life. Every day is new”.
