Yumi Shimizu lives in Japan with her husband and their daughter. She loves to study culture, art and nature in North Europe, and to walk in botanic gardens and needle-leaved forests.
Yumi Shimizu is one of the winners of People’s Bead 2012 and designed Heavens Garden for the Spiritual Collection.
“My spiritual image was a beautiful garden, which enchased inspiration, time and love. When I visit a beautiful garden, I can feel a peace, it sharpens my senses and feel like living in a different world “Heaven”. To me ”Heaven’s Garden” means harmony of human and nature.”
